2650_AMBULANCE OFFICER RECOMMENDS SQWINCHER

Ambulance Officer Recommends Sqwincher
December 13th, 2010

I was invited to play in the IBM Social Golf Weekend at Cobram Barooga back in November. It was a pretty hot and humid weekend. On the first day of play, I was in a group with a guy from Sydney who seemed relatively healthy, and in good shape.

Not long into the round, he started to show signs of fatigue. (he is a non-drinker/non-smoker I might add) By the 9th hole, he was cramping in the calves and thighs.

We urged him to get some water into his body as it may have been dehydration sneaking up on him. By the 12th hole he was barely able to walk without cramping, and he was having trouble holding his golf clubs.

At that point I had a thought that he may have had too much water, and as a consequence, had drained his body of electrolytes.  (I have no First Aid Training, just what I have learnt from selling Sqwincher)

I had a Mixed pack of Quik Stiks in my golf bag (as you do) I gave him some and he poured 2 of them into his water bottle and rested for 5 minutes.

This is no miracle story, but he managed to finish the round, sipping on a couple of more Quik Stiks in his water bottle.

He went downhill again after an hour or so after the round, prompting his mate to call the hospital for advice.

They suggested an Ambulance come to have a look at him.

He asked for more Sqwincher as he said it made him feel better earlier.

The Ambos arrived as he was sipping on his Lemonade flavour Sqwincher and after checking his symptoms and vitals, they applauded the use of an electrolyte replacement, and suggested he carry them with him all the time. They did not need to take him to hospital, they suggested I give him the rest of my Quik Stiks!.

I have always believed in the product, but when the Ambulance guys raved about the Quik Stiks, that was confirmation at its best!.
